Bonnie Weaver - Compassion is…
Bonnie is a MalaforVets supporter who also wanted to support the blog initiative. I don’t know about you…but I am really enjoying all of the different interpretations.
My observation of Compassion: Looked at from different angles.
Compassion is learned. Has to be received in order to be released and given freely. If not, compassion becomes a life lesson stance. If observed by others who received plenty in their lives, compassion from someone like me will seem selfish and greedy.
The bigger picture of compassion; today after years of looking at it as "suffering with" human beings overly support creating laziness. Compassion for me comes in a state of genuineness. Treating each person in a gentle manner and hearing with the heart.
Compassion doesn’t fix others’ problems, pains, or demands but yet gives them the tools and the know-how to work towards repairing themselves. That way there is self-gratification, a sense of achievement, and spiritual growth that no amount of pain can take from you!
Compassion, in a nutshell, is helping others to intellectually and spiritually grow. It can be achieved through observation and a watchful eye towards a leader.
